This public exhibition showcasing the work of Coles County Arts Council member artists was held in the main floor galleries of the Link Art Gallery in Paris, Illinois. An Opening Reception with light refreshments was held Friday, September 3, 2021, from 5:00 – 6:30 pm.

Art in the Heart is a show and silent auction of miniature works in a variety of media donated by generous makers. Proceeds benefit Arts CAN's Butterfly Sculpture Project.

Buyers can leave silent auction bids in person
at Nola's Naturals, 422 Madison Avenue in Charleston. Winners will be notified on December 13 and arrangements made for payment and delivery.

Many pieces will be available for purchase at special "Buy it Now" prices at our festive Open House, Saturday December 7, 5-7pm during Christmas in the Heart of Charleston.

Souprize Winner's Community Photo Project Needs YOU!

Oscar Aguilar submitted the winning proposal at CCAC and Arts CAN's Souprize microgrant fundraiser held at the Tarble in May. His project? An album of photographs of Charleston residents' favorite places. Check out his "Capturing Charleston" on Instagram and contact Alex to share your ideas on the best views in our beautiful corner of Illinois.

Plein Air Day at the Lake for Artists, Photographers, Writers and Friends
Friday October 11, 2:30-5:30 pm Lake Charleston Levee Trail Head
We'll start at the pavilion, go out to find our subjects and gather again around 5pm to share snacks, work and inspirations. You can register for the event at the Academy of Lifelong Learning.




Join us at the Newman Center (500 Roosevelt Ave) in Charleston for our annual CCAC members event. This year we will be honoring Earl and Elizabeth Halbe for their many contributions to local Music and Theater. Join us for a recital program, silent auction, light refreshments and of course, a chance to catch up with friends of the arts in Charleston !
